Yesterday, I had the exceptional opportunity to moderate a demonstration surgery at the DKOU congress in Berlin as part of the prestigious “World Surgery Tour” program. This event, focused on presenting the latest trends and technologies in surgery, was the perfect platform to showcase the innovative TrueLock Evo hybrid external fixator by Orthofix.
The surgery addressed a fracture of the upper tibia, a type of injury that demands a highly precise and flexible approach. TrueLock Evo represents the pinnacle of current fixator technology, allowing surgeons to achieve optimal stability and accuracy when treating such fractures. The system can be used for both temporary and definitive fixation, offering doctors versatile options to tailor treatment to the specific needs of the patient.
The audience’s interest during the procedure was palpable, reflecting the growing importance of modern fixators in surgical practice. The discussion that followed was filled with positive feedback about TrueLock Evo’s advantages, such as easy handling, quick application, and high stability, setting new standards in trauma and orthopedic care. This demonstration not only celebrated technological innovations but also provided an opportunity to share experiences and insights with colleagues worldwide who participated in the “World Surgery Tour” at DKOU.
