Surgery for an artificial elbow joint (endoprosthesis) is a complex procedure that is performed at only a few clinics. If an elbow arthroplasty is implanted in patients with an elbow fracture, the surgery is even more challenging. Among other things, it is important to damage the muscles responsible for extension in the elbow joint as little as possible. We have perfected our own surgical technique so that the muscles around the joint are practically not disturbed during the operation. After the operation, the patient not only has less pain, but above all has fully functional muscles that enable him to start physiotherapy immediately after the operation.
